Womer Power @ Rio2016

Woman are always referred as delicate, pretty and sexy. One who wears lipstick and speaks softly. She is a very strong creation of God, in the world who smiles even if hurt. Rio 2016 started with a struggling India and we were hoping that we might not be able to convert great performances into medals this time, but when we thought that  chips are down then the four pillars came for India’s pride salvage.

These four women are emblem of woman power against all the hardships that the girls of India are going through. These women made very different choices which are brave decisions and will encourage new buds to take such step and make difference in the field of sports.

P.V. Sindhu, a southern beauty got us the Silver medal .She gave a tough competition to world No.1 Carolina Marin of Spain, both mentally and physically. She is trained by P. Gopichand (A Dronacharya for Badminton talents, a great player himself, who had won All England Open Badminton Championship, 2001) and gave India its first silver medal in the field of badminton. She is the first woman to get Silver in Rio 2016 Olympics.

Sakshi Malik of Haryana became the first Indian to win a medal at Rio 2016, and also the first female wrestler from India to win an Olympic medal. She created a love in Indians for woman's wrestling. She won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category.

Dipa Karmakar is India’s first female gymnast to qualify for the quadrennial mega event after 52 years from India.
She hails from Tripura. Produnova, is one of the tougher vaults being competed in the world – a combination of generating sufficient height to complete rotation and the difficulty in finding the ground after twisting in order to control the landing.
She attained 4th position in Women's Vault Gymnastics event of Rio Olympics 2016 with an overall score of 15.066.
Dipa risked her life to place India to this pedestal in Gymnastic but still she is humble and down to earth.

Lalita Babar born in Maharashtra is a long distance runner who came 10th in the final of the women’s 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Rio Olympics. She is the first Indian Woman after P T Usha to qualify for the track and field finals in Olympics.

These pillars suffered lot of pain for becoming an Iron and making India proud but still when you see them you can only see the beauty not the pain they go through.

In a country where female fetuses are dumped in garbage cans, these girls have showed entire 1.27 billion people what sheer determination, grit, hard work, perseverance, never say die attitude, raw gifted talent and sacrifice can achieve. I take a bow and wish we will get more such gems in the coming future. School, country, parents, family and friends will support them and help them to achieve a name in the field of their choice.

My Love for Sari ..

Sari is one of the beautiful attire which is classy as well as elegant. When we Indian gals are young this is one of the favourite dress which we want to wear on our special days.
That first sari is of our Mom, which is one of the best sari present in her wardrobe. I have a great deal of affection attached with Saris and I always find time and occasion to wear the same.
Sari is getting accepted as beauty standards all across the world. It gives a simpler look and make us aware that beauty is not confined to fair and thin models but it is now as much on the streets as it on television. Sari blends the beauty stunningly with simple, elegant and every day style.

Sari is Indian Clothing which is worn from ancient times. A cloth drape varying from five to nine yards in length and two to four feet in breadth can be worn in different styles. Some styling has evolved according to the region and it is there specialities. There are 80 ways to wear sari like Bengali, Maharashtrian and South-Indian etc. Today also it makes the head turn when worn outside India.

Today's generation passion for sari is decreasing because of the time it takes to wear and energy it takes to manage. I am also no exception I also find it quite difficult to manage. I love wearing sari and try to dress up occasionally.

We always remember our teachers dressed in ironed and neat saris. They used to look so elegant. Our grandma and mum looked ethereal.

India is a land of festivals and celebrations and the sari is a sure shot fashion statement that will always get you noticed.

Indian sari has evolved as a fashion statement that is perfect for any occasion. A right sari will not only hide your body flaws but also can enhance your looks that will make you look attractive.

All young youth love to flaunt themselves in lovely saris. Sari is versatile and can fit everyone. Dear Ladies wear beautiful saris with beautiful accessories and clean bowled all  the spectators.

An ancient wear which stands strong still without any competition. Love this particular style statement.
