Raw Vegan Diet

Raw Vegan Diet means eating raw fruits, vegetables, and grains. Its said that heating food destroys its nutrients and natural enzymes as enzymes boost digestion and fight chronic disease. So this diet came up.It claims to help in recovering headaches , allergies, boost immunity , memory, and improve arthritis and diabetes.

Since calories are not going in it helps in losing weight. Raw food is high in vitamins, minerals and fiber. And it’s true eating lots of veggies and fruits is good for you.

Vitamins which we get from animal products is lacking in this diet which is one of the drawback for this diet. One more drawback is the killing of bacteria by cooking food which is avoided in this diet.

Think uncooked, unprocessed, mostly organic foods. Your staples: raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and sprouted grains. Some eat unpasteurized dairy foods, raw eggs, meat, and fish.

Some Healthy Recipe....

I've always heard 80-20(80% eating right and 20% exercise) rule for weight loss. Eating right is very important.Exercise is the icing on the cake to keep the metabolism up and get toned as the weight comes off. Moreover it's easier to keep knock off calories from your diet than it is to burn the calories on a treadmill as it boils down to calorie deficits and nutrient ratios. After attaining a healthy weight, I'd say the importance of exercise for cardiovascular health and keeping weight off goes up significantly and then 50-50(50% eating right and 50% exercise) rule applies.I have pen down some of the recipes which will help you in losing weight if you replace your one meal with any of the below recipes.
